Having recently taken on responsibility for marketing the Garstang Show, a classic agricultural show in rural Lancashire, my first move was to fully update their branding and build a brand new, fit-for-purpose website.
The new website boasts integrated ticketing and entry systems, a mobile-first design and far more information than ever before.
The branding was originally based around the Garstang & District Agricultural & Horticultural Society logo, which they were keen to keep untouched. However, I pointed out that this did not highlight the event itself. I therefore decided to develop a secondary logo to promote the show, with a clear nod back to the Society’s logo.
Unfortunately the 2020 show has now been cancelled, but I will be rolling out their new identity ready for the 2021 show.
